2021-2022 Scholarship Awards Announced

 
The SPE Fort Worth Section is pleased to announce the 2020-2021 Scholarship Award Recipients. 

Miranda Brooks

Miranda_Brooks_2_edit.pngMiranda Brooks is a Petroleum Engineering major at Texas Tech University. Along with an excellent GPA of 3.6, she is an active member of the SPE Student Chapter at Texas Tech as well as belonging to AADE and LIP (Ladies in Petroleum). 

She is known for being determined, goal-oriented, and hard working. In her spare time, Miranda enjoys working out, traveling, and wakeboarding.





Pierce Miller

Pierce is majoring in Petroleum Engineering at Texas A&M University with a Minor in Mathematics. He is a member of the SPE Student Chapter along with the National Society of Collegiate Scholars, Phi Eta Sigma National Honor Society, the National Society of Leadership and Success, and The Society for Collegiate Leadership and Achievement.

Pierce enjoys outdoor sports including skiing, snowboarding, mountain biking and dirt biking and has competed in skeet shooting and martial arts.



Sarah Qureshi

Qureshi__Sarah_Headshot_2.jpgSarah is Petroleum Engineering major at Texas Tech University. She is a former Dean’s List and current President's List student with a GPA of 3.9 as well as a volunteer with the SPE Student Chapter. Sarah is an active volunteer with SWE (Society of Women Engineers) as well as the treasurer of both Texas Tech's AADE and the National Society of Professional Engineers Student Chapters.

She is known for her hard work and dedication, but also for the way she supports and helps other students. She enjoys reading, running, and is a certified mixologist.
