SPE Fort Worth

Chairperson's Newsletter - Spring 2024

Fort Worth SPE Section,

We are rounding out a very productive year of educational speakers and returning members. There are two remaining speakers for the 23-24 session. Charles Bourgeois is our April Speaker presenting ‘Validating Efficient Completion Design’, and the Distinguished Lecturer, Norman Ritchie, will be presenting in May on "New Methods for Learning from Incidents Involving Human & Organizational Performance".

SPE Fort Worth Section would like to thank all our speakers thus far and extend our appreciation to our members who have supported our speakers as well. Aaron Barbato has done a wonderful job at lining up these presentations, and he is always looking for additional speakers and topics. Furthermore, we would like feedback from our members as to what topics you would like presented next year.

Lastly, thank you to our luncheon sponsors this year. With your sponsorships, we have been able to keep our pricing sustainable for our members.

Fort Worth SPE is currently accepting scholarship applications for incoming freshmen and undergraduate students in pursuit of a career in oil and gas. The deadline is April 15, 2024. Additional information and applications are on our section website:
