We are very excited to announce that our May meeting will be an In-Person event for anyone who wants to attend. We are planning (technology permitting) to have a zoom feed for anyone wanting to participate remotely (select "Scholarship Package" option when registering). There is no cost to attend via the zoom link, but we do ask for a $5 donation to help support our scholarship program. Our keynote speaker will be Brent Halldorson who will be presenting on the topic of "What's Next? The Coming Age of Water Management". In this discussion Brent will explore what the future may hold for oilfield water management, including a discourse on:
Brent Halldorson recently founded RedOx Systems after spending 25 years in active produced water management. RedOx provides consulting expertise to help customers manage their produced water as efficiently as possible.
In his career, Brent helped found Fountain Quail Water Management, which pioneered commercial recycling in US unconventional oil and gas development, beginning in the Barnett Shale in 2004.
Brent has become well known as an advocate for oilfield water recycling. He founded the Texas Water Recycling Association and serves on the board of the Produced Water Society.
