The Fort Worth Section's 2009 Sporting Clay Tournament will be on Friday, April 17th, 2009. The deadline to sign up is Friday, April 3rd. We will have a maximum of 24 teams this year, so sign up as soon as you can! Fill out an entry form and send it along with your payment to Lee Matthews at the address on the form.

Regular meetings begin with a buffet lunch at 11:30 am ($20.00, cash or check only, please), at the Petroleum Club of Fort Worth, located on the 39th floor of the Carter-Burgess Plaza, 777 Main Street, Downtown Fort Worth, Texas. Parking is available at the garage located at the corner of East 7th Street and Commerce. Although walk-ins are always welcome, we prefer and encourage that you RSVP at least 48 hours in advance. Remember that if you RSVP, your name will go into a drawing for a door prize at our May 2008 meeting. The more often you RSVP, the better chances you have of winning. Barnett Shale Reserves – The Evolution
The October 2008 Fall Kickoff meeting will be Thursday, 23 October 2008 at the Fort Worth Club, located 306 West 7th Street, Downtown Fort Worth. The presentation will be held in the Horizon room on the 12th floor. The Club's parking garage entrance can be accessed from 7th Street.

Reservoir Aspects of Horizontal and Multilateral Wells

Who Should Attend?
This course is intended for reservoir, production, drilling, and completion engineers, managers, and other personnel who are interested in learning about reservoir selection aspects of horizontal wells.

The course will be held in the Bellevue Room at the Fort Worth Club on Thursday, April 9. The cost of this one-day course is $300 per person, which includes a 200+ page reference binder, beverages and a light snack. Lunch is not included. About the Instructor
Dr. Sada Joshi is President of Joshi Technologies International, Inc. He has more than 24 years' of experience in horizontal wells and has been advisor to more than 180 field projects around the world. He has written many technical papers and a book entitled Horizontal Well Technology.
